After signing up, Home asks what to call you. Tap Later to skip for now.

Tap Capture and photograph a recipe page. The AI reads your handwriting.

Look over what the AI read, fix anything, then Save.

Save it to your own recipes, to your kitchen, or both.

Settings → Account. Mise then opens like an app, full screen.

My Recipes is yours. Each kitchen tab is that kitchen’s shared recipes.

Type a recipe name, an ingredient or a person. Use two words to narrow it, e.g. “truffle jasper”. Accents and small spelling slips are fine: “pate” finds Pâte, “crossiant” finds Croissant.

Appear when recipes have tags. Tap one to show only those recipes.

Show only that diet type. Tap again to clear.

Change the order.

Show recipes in sections (Stocks, Sauces…) or as one long list.

Each tab remembers its own filters and order.

Amber label: the AI wasn’t sure about something. Open the recipe to check it.

Someone asked to join your kitchen. Tap Review to let them in. Goes once you’ve said yes or no.

A chef changed this kitchen recipe in the last 7 days. Goes once a head chef changes it too.

On your own recipe card: send it straight to a kitchen.

Photograph a recipe. Several pages? Take each page, then process them together. One recipe at a time.

Say the recipe out loud: name, ingredients, method, serves. Mise writes it up.

Start a blank recipe and type it in.

Photograph a whole stack. Tap “New recipe” between recipes. Read overnight; you get an email when ready.

The check screen. Everything can be changed before you save.

Starts ticked on where you pressed Capture: on a kitchen’s tab, it goes to that kitchen; on My Recipes, to My Recipes. Tick more if you want it in several places — each is a separate copy.

If that kitchen already has a recipe with the same name, choose: replace it, add it as a separate recipe, or don’t add it.

The AI quietly fixes spelling and cooking words. It never changes amounts.

Each photo or voice capture uses one. Free: 5 in total. Paid: 50 a month.

Make more or less: times it by a number, set how many it serves, or “What I have” — enter what you’re short of and it scales everything to match.

Switch the units.

The UK 14. Solid = contains. Dashed = may contain (hidden in a bought ingredient, like fish in dashi).

What the AI wasn’t sure about. Open them, check, then tap “Accept — I’ve checked this”.

Estimates, per serving (or for the whole recipe if it doesn’t say how many it serves).

In Edit: work out allergens, nutrition and cost again after changes.

Add a note: what you changed, how it went. Tap the mic to speak it. On a kitchen recipe, everyone in the kitchen sees it.

Change anything. Anyone in a kitchen can edit its recipes.

Send a link (WhatsApp, text, email). Anyone can view it — no account needed.

Put one of your own recipes into a kitchen.

Keep your own copy of a kitchen recipe.

Shows when the kitchen version has changed since you copied it.

Every change, before and after. Put an old version back if needed.

Two taps. Kitchen recipes: whoever added it, or a head chef.

Settings → Join with code. Enter the code from your head chef. They approve you.

Settings → Create your own kitchen. You become the owner.

Settings → your kitchen → Leave. Your own recipes and copies stay with you.

Sees and edits every kitchen recipe, adds notes, deletes what they added.

Also approves people, hands out chef subscriptions, deletes any recipe, puts old versions back.

Settings → Manage kitchen. Invite code, people waiting to join, everyone in the kitchen.

Change their role, make them the owner, or remove them.

Pay for your chefs: £35 a month per 10 chefs. Turn one on for each chef. Covers this kitchen only.

How the kitchen uses Mise: recipes added, recipes needing a check. Kitchen totals only — never per person.

Create 5 recipes, 5 AI imports, join or create 1 kitchen. You can see 5 recipes in total — your own first, then the oldest kitchen ones.

First month 99p if you’ve never subscribed. Unlimited recipes, every kitchen recipe, 50 AI imports a month, bulk import. More kitchens can be added.

The owner pays for 10 chefs at a time. Each covered chef gets full access in that kitchen.

Settings → Gift Code. Free access for a set time.

Nothing is deleted. Your oldest 5 recipes stay open; the rest lock until you come back.

You keep full access for a while. Settings → Manage billing to update your card.

Account → tap your name to change it. It’s what chefs in your kitchen see. You need one before you can join or create a kitchen.

Kitchens you’re in. Join, create, leave, or Manage kitchen.

Your plan. Upgrade, or Manage billing to change card or cancel.

Send another chef a link to Mise.
